JOHN-LLOYD QUAYLE

IMAGE MAKER/ PHOTOGRAPHER/ LECTURER/ PHD CANDIDATE

ABOUT

John-Lloyd Quayle is a Northwest based Analogue Documentary Photographer, Lecturer and PhD Candidate.

Quayle has visually documented his hometown of Birkenhead and surrounding areas since a young boy. Quayle would spend countless hours taking pictures on day trips and working in his late father’s modest loft darkroom, experimenting with analogue photographic processes and materials. It was from the young age of six that Quayle found his deep love for the material qualities of traditional film-based analogue photography.
